Choices in Senior Care staff members have an amazing ability to work together as a team to provide the best possible care management for our clients and support for their families. This essential component of our services ensures that our clients have access to professional care at all times - 24 x 7! Really, you ask? Absolutely. We provide help with doctor’s visits, home services, emergencies and a 24 hour “on call service”.
So why is teamwork important? Just last week, one of our clients had a doctor’s appointment. His usual care manager was taking another client to a medical procedure during the same time frame. Three other care managers immediately volunteered to take the client to his doctor’s appointment, ensuring both clients received the care they needed and deserved…Teamwork!!
Another example happened a few weeks ago. One of our caregivers went to their shift in a client’s home and noticed that the client was not himself. He was confused, agitated and feeling badly. The caregiver coordinated with his care manager and the client’s family to make a decision regarding the client’s well-being. The caregiver called 911 and they transported the client to the hospital. The care manager went to the hospital to support the client and the family, the caregiver stayed in the home to care for the client’s spouse who also uses our services. Our staff’s ability to work together as a team, providing our clients with a 24 x 7 safety net of services, allows Choices in Senior Care to provide comprehensive and compassionate care with a truly personal touch!
